Junior Board Job Description and Application Information The Junior Board of Shattered Globe Theatre will consist of a maximum of 10 members, who actively work together to: 1) provide leadership and technical skills in line with SGT’s mission and programming, and 2) foster enthusiasm and support for Shattered Globe Theatre among the next generation of theatre patrons. Directors will have responsibilities in the following areas:

Download Junior Board Application Officers and Named Positions: Chair The Chair of the Junior Board is elected by majority vote of the Junior Board, subject to final approval of the Chairman of the Board of Directors. The chair conducts Junior Board meetings according to established rules of procedure and works closely with senior staff. The Chair will hold his/her position for no more than two consecutive two-year terms, but may re-elected to the position after a two-year rotation to a different Board position or a one-year rotation off of the Board. Vice Chair The Vice Chair is familiar with the duties of the Chair and should be able to assume them in his/her absence. Secretary The Secretary keeps accurate minutes of the proceedings of each Junior Board meeting and coordinates the actions needed to be taken following the meeting in accordance with the discussed topics. Liaison to the Board of Directors The Junior Board Liaison to the Board of Directors attends all meetings of the Board of Directors in a non-voting capacity to report on the major activities of the Junior Board. When significant collaboration between the Board of Directors and the Junior Board is required, the Liaison to the Board of Directors will facilitate the process. Benefit Chair(s) The Benefit Chair(s) provides primary leadership for the planning and implementation of the Junior Board’s annual fundraising event. Terms of Service Directors and officers of the Junior Board serve renewable terms of two years and are subject to annual evaluation. |
